About the work

I made this abstract collage from my failed paintings and painting sketches. Complicated shapes and varied textures contrast here beautifully with the empty background. I was inspired by museum showcases where mysterious objects from the past are displayed. I wanted my shapes to resemble those from ancient cave times. Some imaginary uncanny objects or their fragments about which we know nothing.
